'CHICKS IN KICKS'

Our next two t-shirt releases are our 'Chicks in Kicks' tees, paying homage to two pin ups of yore. First up a reworking of an image that made a sex-symbol. Raquel Welch's iconic portrait for the 1966 film One Million Years BC made her the dream girl for millions in the Sixties when it became a best selling pin-up poster, that's right kids - long before the days of internet porn and Brazzers, posters of scantily clad women gave men their kicks. Here we've updated it with new accessories for the outdoor enthusiast and of course she's wearing some nice footwear, in this instance a suitable pair of hiking boots.

Next up 'Nubian Princess' Pam Grier, an original pioneer of girl power as one of the first female action stars. Inspired by the lasting cool of her very own cult 1970's Blaxploitation films such as Coffy and Foxy Brown. Pimps, gangsters, Cadillacs and damn fine dames in Nike Air, what's not to like? 

Both designs will be released this Wednesday (7pm) on Grey Marl and White tees, featuring back of neck signature print. Models not included. DC

So, that's two music videos we've featured in now. Thanks to our good friends from Proudheart Moscow for sharing this, Russian Rapper Smoky Mo [ Смоки Мо ] Hip-Hop All Stars 2013. He's only wearing the Connoisseur x Tuktuk Regency shirt, one of our faves yet that! And there's still actually a handful of them left too. 
The second video is another one of his, which is certainly worth a watch too! Whilst we're not too clued up on the Cyrillic tongue, this looks and sounds good to us. Nice one Smoky! DC

Yes, they offer a service where by you can design your own unique bespoke shirt.

Split over three stages, the service allows you to choose your own fabric, stage two you get to choose your own preferred fit and all important details, will it be a classic collar or a penny one? Do you fancy a double button cuff and button down collar? Then you get to choose your buttons and with over 20 odd to mull over there's a nice variety! Finally the most important stage: The measurements, now at this point you need to add in your details. Using a favourite fitting shirt you already own is a handy tip offered, but don't forget to download the measuring guide, this makes things a lot easier!

Then you're done, sit back relax and wait for your one off shirt to arrive and within 7-14 days to boot! Here's one I made earlier....TC

SOCKAGE.

Hands off cocks, on socks! To us a nice sock is an all important part of the wardrobe, always underestimated and occasionally misunderstood by the non believers out there! We want the sort of socks Timmy Mallet would be proud to wear, stripes, patterns, dots. Or stripes, patterns and dots in one big technicolor spew all at once. Perfect for that hint of colour between your jeans and favourite footwear.
So, yeah. Happy Socks in an array of patterns and colours in store now. DC

SHOES v TRAINERS.

Are you a shoe guy or more of a trainer man? it doesn't really matter does it? Well we like both! In celebration of fine footwear we got our regular cohort Slugger O'Toole to do us these superb new commissions. Shoegazing - in homage of sensible shoes; classic models such as the Desert boot, Hiking shoe, handmade Moccasin and contemporary versions of other classics from favourite brands feature here. Traninergazing - an ode to classic trainers, we see Bluebirds, Workout, 576, Internationalist, Elites, and Trimm Trabs in the style of an old catalogue. 
We reckon the illustration and detailing on these are some next level stuff, which our printers have done a sterling job on! Both available on our white heavyweight tees, screenprinted in Manchester. Released 7pm tonight. TC

CARDS, PRINTS ETC...

For many years now we have used Red Bubble to make a good chunk of our promo stuff of point of sale, using some of our own designs, other commissions and illustrations for cards, prints and posters. These are top quality, glossy and very well made, with plenty of use they can be used as a nice giveaway, birthday cards or framed up for modern art! We make about tuppence from these and they are sent out directly from the manufacturers, but they are a nice product. Check them out. DC

NEW T-SHIRTS

Okay then, tonight sees the release of the 'Resist' tee, coming on Black and on White. The Resist design is a simple monochrome nod to some of our fave old school Nordic outerwear and of course the Norwegian Resistance. Our man 'Rolf' takes to the slopes with his handgun and ski hat. Available from 7pm.
Then, next week: our three vintage catalogue/magazine style designs. Any Port in a Storm, Shoegazing and Trainergazing will go online on Monday 3rd. From our regular cohort Mr O'Toole each design fittingly pays tribute to our love of fine footwear and classic outerwear, all featuring ace high quality prints with amazing attention to detail Chicks in Kicks to follow. DC

You trying to mug me off? no we're offering you a mug. Safe for the dishwasher, but maybe not the office. Heavy duty expletive 'bachelor' mugs back by popular demand - these went quick last time, including original Red and a new Royal Blue colour.

ANTIHEROES PINS... AND GONZO HATS.

We love hats here at CC and sometimes you have the desire to wear a wacky titfer, we try to ensure as diverse a range as we can and this one is quite crazy, like something Timmy Mallet may wear on a trip to Butlins or better still something the Good Doc might wear whilst tripping! An eclectic piece of headwear for an eccentric chap. Made in the USA, limited numbers.

So, next up in our ongoing pin badge collection, we bring you our Anti Heroes pins. Featuring Breaking Bad's Walter White alter Ego 'Heisenberg' and A Clockwork Orange's Alexander DeLarge himself. Current cult TV and classic literature is covered here in superb minute detail - and as far as we can see, they've never been done before! It's the simple things which work the best, these are two of our favourites yet. As always highly limited numbers produced #acultnotacashin TC
